The Einhell battery charger CE-BC 2 M is an intelligent battery charger with microprocessor control for a wide range of vehicle battery types. Adapted to the technically advanced and powerful batteries of today's vehicles, the battery charger has a range of technical protection and care mechanisms. The focus of development was on fast, gentle charging so that the battery has the longest possible service life at full power. Operating the charger is easier than with conventional devices thanks to a detailed charge display. The smart control electronics analyze the connected battery and initiate the right steps depending on its condition. The trickle charge function protects and preserves the battery to ensure a permanently ideal charge level. This makes the CE-BC 2 M particularly suitable for seasonal vehicles with long periods of downtime: Instead of allowing the battery to slowly drain completely and thus risking deep discharge, the battery is gently kept at its optimal level by means of trickle charging. This extends the service life and prevents the costly replacement of a broken vehicle battery. Cars, motorcycles or scooters are ready for use immediately at the start of the season. A winter charging mode has been developed especially for outside temperatures below 5° Celsius. The Einhell battery charger meets IP protection class 65, which means it is dustproof and protected against water jets. The LED battery voltage and charging progress display shows at a glance the charge level of the battery and which mode the charger is set to. The device distinguishes between charging levels of 25 percent, 50 percent, 75 percent and 100 percent, 12 V vehicle charging and 'winter mode'. A warning light immediately alerts the user to any problems. The fully insulated battery terminals mean that the Einhell battery charger can be connected easily and safely. The housing is provided with a hanging loop for attachment to the wall.
