The GigaSystem 17/8 is designed for the construction of a distribution system with which the signals from up to four satellite positions can be distributed to up to eight participants. The cascade 17/8 K in combination with the basic unit 17/8 G enables the signal to be distributed to more than eight participants. The cascading module can either be docked directly onto the basic unit or integrated into the distribution system at some distance from it. The power supply for the cascaded multiswitch as well as for all connected LNBs is provided by the basic unit. The basic unit of the GigaSystem can supply up to four cascades with voltage.
