Overview

The 3M™ QS 200 connection kits combine the proven technology of the heat shrink outer jacket with the cold shrink technology in the form of a one-piece, quick-to-install insulating body. Together they protect and insulate the connection safely and reliably.The 3M™ Cold Shrink Kit for Medium Voltage QS200 Series is designed for the unique cold shrink installation system. The products are supplied pre-stretched on a removable support coil, enabling efficient and easy installation. The electrical field control and the Faraday cage, both integrated in the insulating body, simplify installation. The specific properties of the insulating silicone body allow the connection of a wide variety of cable cross-sections. Connection kits for medium voltage are available both with and without screw connectors. 3M™ Cold Shrink Kits for Medium Voltage were developed as a simple and safe solution for connecting medium voltage cables.
