The empty housings have been tested by an internationally recognized and certified testing center and have been certified by type testing for use in areas at risk of dust and gas explosions in accordance with ATEX and IECEx. The housings serve as protection for mechanical and electrical devices and components. Protection class IP66, operating temperature max. -35°C to +85°C, category 2G Ex e and 2D Ex t. The operating instructions and the declaration of conformity are included with the housing, the type plate is affixed, the EU type examination certificate and the IECEx-validated certificate can be viewed and downloaded from the Bernstein AG website.
