Light barriers are production-friendly safety components that allow the machine operator to operate the system without barriers. Light barriers are well suited as protective devices when goods have to be transported into or out of a hazardous area. The light barrier corresponds to type 4 according to EN 61496 and impresses with its flexible installation and LED status display. The range is 10 m. A bridging function is possible. Light barriers, emergency stop buttons and Eden in the same safety circuit together with Vital/Pluto achieve PL e according to EN ISO 13849-1. Mounting materials and mirrors are available as accessories.
