Residual current circuit breakers (RCCBs) switch off the power supply when dangerously high residual currents occur. DFS 4 are two- or four-pole residual current circuit breakers for single- or three-phase networks. In the standard version, the compact devices are four modules wide. They are available with a variety of different tripping currents and characteristics with rated currents of up to 125 A. Their design makes installation and an overview easier in the event of a fault. They can be easily labeled using free label software. The compact residual current circuit breakers are available with many different tripping currents and rated currents. The large double-deck terminals can also accommodate large conductor cross-sections. A practical multi-function switch toggle and the free label software for labeling round off the package. Type A switches are sensitive to alternating and pulse currents. This function is independent of the mains voltage. Standard devices are designed for monitoring circuits with a rated voltage of 230 V or 400 V and a rated frequency of 50 Hz. Mounting type: - Quick fastening on mounting rail - Any installation position - Any feed direction Application areas: - Power supplies for residential and commercial buildings as well as industrial plants with TN-S, TT and TN-CS networks. In IT networks, residual current circuit breakers from this series can be used to switch off in the event of a second fault. - Use in TN-C networks and for protecting systems in which electronic equipment can cause smooth DC residual currents or residual currents with frequencies other than 50 Hz is excluded. Comprehensive protection is not provided here. For such applications, we recommend our all-current sensitive residual current circuit breakers (type B or B+).
