Residual current circuit breakers (RCCB) are components for implementing the protective measure 'protection by automatic shutdown of the power supply' in accordance with the requirements of 0100 Part 410 or corresponding international installation regulations. Devices in the DRCCB 5 series are compact two-pole or four-pole residual current circuit breakers with additional equipment. Switches with residual current characteristic A enable the detection of sinusoidal alternating and pulsating direct residual currents independent of the mains voltage. Any additional functions that may be present are voltage-dependent. DRCCB 5 in the self-test restart version enable automatic restart after a trip and an uninterrupted, automatic and regular function test of the residual current circuit breaker. The power supply is integrated in the device and takes place without any additional parts via the supply lines from above on the residual current circuit breaker. The automatic function can be switched on and off using the switch slide. Features: - monthly self-test - automatic insulation test before attempting to restart - no attempt to restart if a fault is present - operating status is indicated by LEDs - configurable auxiliary contact Installation type: - quick attachment to mounting rail - installation position as desired - power supply from above Areas of use: The devices are used wherever electrical installations are difficult to access or where a high level of system availability is required. This can be, for example, agricultural operations, small wind turbines, pumping stations, sewage treatment plants and telecommunications systems. Notes: According to the standard, automatic restarting is only permitted in areas to which only electrically trained persons and qualified electricians have access.
