Shunt releases enable circuit breakers to be triggered remotely. The FAM 1 remote release module is suitable for FI/LS combinations in the single-pole+N version and circuit breakers of the ELS 3 series. It safely switches off FI/LS combinations with rated residual currents of up to 0.3 A, even if long cable lengths have been laid to remote buttons or contacts. The FAM 1 has a safety shutdown.
