Dim2Warm operating mode: one DALI address for dimming while simultaneously changing the color temperature. Operating modes: The device has several operating modes: DT8 (default): In this operating mode, a DALI address (Device Type 8, Color Type Tc) is used to control brightness and color temperature. Balance&Dim: Control is via 2 DALI addresses (or SwitchDim2), whereby one address is used for dimming and the other for channel allocation (ie e.g. Tunable White or direct/indirect lighting allocation). The Balance&Dim mode enables the color temperature to be adjusted without affecting the brightness and vice versa. Adjustment is made using standard DALI commands such as Dim Up/Down and can therefore be carried out with all common controls and gateways (e.g. KNX). This control option offers an alternative to the DT8-Tc mode. Can be operated via DALI or SwitchDim2: DALI address 1, SwD1: brightness. DALI address 2, SwD2: balance.
