Fine-wire fuse 5x20 mm Super-fast G-fuse links are intended as short-circuit protection for semiconductor components (diodes, thyristors, triacs, quadracs). They are also used to quickly switch off devices in cases where a fast-acting fuse link is still too slow. These fuse links are not standardized.
