For the test procedure, the detector tester (supplied with DZZ1190) is pushed over the detector. By briefly pressing it, the test gas flows into the detector's measuring chamber and simulates the presence of fire aerosols. The detector responds within a short time and triggers an alarm. The test gas is free of halogenated chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). The telescopic rods FDUM291/292 and the test gas REF8 and REF8-S must be ordered separately.
