The screw-in resistance thermometer enables temperature measurement in liquid and gaseous media due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor. With a 2.5 m long silicone-insulated connection cable and fixed screw connection with G 1/2 inch thread, the resistance thermometer is designed for temperatures from -50 to +200 °C. An important selection criterion is the reliable tightness for measurements under both negative and positive pressure. This screw-in form is therefore ideal for applications in air conditioning and refrigeration technology as well as in heating, furnace and apparatus construction. The continuous protective tube and the process connection are made of stainless steel 1.4571 and protect the measuring insert against chemical influences and mechanical damage. The resistance thermometer according to DIN EN 60751 (class B) is designed as 1 x Pt100 in a three-wire circuit. The dimensions of the protective tube are 6.0 x 100 mm. A kink protection hose is attached to the transition of the connecting cable. The permissible ambient temperature of the silicone cable is -50 to +180 °C. The connection ends are provided with wire end ferrules.
