The screw-on resistance thermometer enables temperature measurements in many interior areas of air conditioning technology due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor and the special housing design. The housing with protection class IP20 is made of PC plastic and is designed for temperatures from -30 to +80 °C. The resistance thermometer is therefore preferably used for temperature measurements in dry rooms. The resistance thermometer according to DIN EN 60751 (class B) is designed as 1 x Pt100 in a two-wire circuit. The built-in analog measuring transducer supplies a standardized signal with 4 to 20 mA for the measuring range 0 to 60 °C.
