The screw-in resistance thermometer enables temperature measurement in liquid and gaseous media due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor. With a 2.5 m long silicone-insulated connection cable and loose screw connection, the resistance thermometer is designed for temperatures from -50 to +200 °C. An important selection criterion is the reliable tightness for measurements under both negative and positive pressure. This screw-in form is therefore ideal for applications in air conditioning and refrigeration technology as well as in heating, furnace and apparatus construction. The protective tube is made of Inconel 2.4816. The protective tube dimensions are 5.4 x 27.5 mm, with the tip offset to 3.3 mm. An M10 x 1 mm thread serves as the process connection. The resistance thermometer according to DIN EN 60751 (class B) is designed as 1 x Pt100 in a three-wire circuit. A kink protection hose is attached to the connection cable transition. The permissible ambient temperature of the cable is -50 to +180 °C. The connection ends are provided with wire end ferrules.
