The cylindrical screw-in protective sleeve is used for the installation of thermocouples and resistance thermometers, for example when a sensor exchange is required without draining the system and/or pressure resistance is required. The protective sleeve with internal thread G 1/2 (similar to DIN 16179 Form D) is designed for temperatures from 0 to 400 °C. The outer diameter of the protective tube is 8 mm. A G 1/2 screw connection serves as the process connection. The inner diameter and installation length are 6.2 x 150 mm. The dimensions given refer to the thermometer. Stainless steel 1.4571 is used as the protective sleeve material.
