The thermometer has a stainless steel housing (material no. 1.4301) with a diameter of 60 mm. The housing is installed in a control panel using a retaining bracket. The measuring system used works according to the liquid expansion principle. The temperature can be read on a white scale with black lettering, which is protected by a glass pane. The housing has protection class IP55 and can be used in temperature limits from -30 to 70 °C; the nominal position is arbitrary. At the end of the installed copper long-distance line there is a smooth sensor with a diameter of 6 mm, which is also made of copper. In order to optimally record the temperature, the sensor must be completely immersed in the medium to be measured. It can be attached using a separate protective sleeve (not included in delivery). The long-distance line outlet is located on the back of the thermometer housing. Since no additional auxiliary power is required, the device is ideally suited for energy-saving temperature measurement. The device can be used universally and is ideal for local temperature measurement in ovens and industrial plants.
