The multi-channel controller module (component of the overall mTRON T system) supports up to four PID controller channels (cascadable), each with two parameter sets and four setpoints. Self-optimization using the oscillation or step response method. This version has two universal inputs, two digital inputs and digital outputs, and two relay outputs with normally open contact (AC 230 V / 3 A). The digitized input values/states are available in the system for further processing. The digital and analog outputs can be controlled by the system (via the connection list or directly from the PLC) or directly from the module. The module works independently, even if the central unit or the higher-level system fails. This behavior is configurable. The presence of the power supply, the operating status of the module, and the states of the digital inputs and outputs are indicated by LEDs. For retrofitting or for servicing, the module insert is simply pulled forwards out of the housing. The housing including the bus board remains mounted on the top-hat rail. The inputs and outputs are connected on the front via removable terminal blocks with push-in technology. The voltage supply is DC 24 V +25/-20 %.
