The screw-on resistance thermometer enables temperature measurements in many areas of air conditioning technology due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor and the special housing design. The housing with protection class IP65 is made of PC plastic and has an external sensor. The resistance thermometer is therefore preferably used for fast-response temperature measurements in rooms and outdoors. The resistance thermometer according to DIN EN 60751 (class B) is designed as 1 x Pt100 in a two-wire circuit. The built-in analog measuring transducer supplies a standardized signal with 4 to 20 mA for the measuring range -40 to +80 °C.
