The compact controller in DIN format for front installation is universally applicable and can be used to control temperature, pressure and other process variables. The device is characterized by simple, clearly structured operation supported by text. Process values and parameters are shown by two 18-segment LCD displays. In addition, the version has individual display elements for the switching positions of the outputs as well as for manual operation, ramp function and timer. The controller is operated via a membrane keyboard with four keys and can be used in harsh environmental conditions thanks to the high protection class IP65. Depending on the hardware version, the device can be used as a two-point controller, three-point controller, three-point step controller or continuous controller. Self-optimization, ramp function, program controller, manual operation, limit value monitoring, digital control signals, extensive timer functions and a service counter are also included. The devices can be easily configured with a PC using the setup program (including program editor and ST editor). During configuration via the USB interface, no separate power supply is required (USB-powered). The PID controller has 1 universal input, 2 relay outputs (normally open), 1 digital input, 1 digital input/output and an analog output. The voltage supply range is AC 110 to 240 V +10/-15%, 48 to 63 Hz.
