The air quality sensor measures the current air quality and outputs this as an analogue value 0-10VDC (the smaller the value, the better the air quality). In contrast to other sensors (e.g. CO2 sensor, which only measures CO2 and nothing else), the mixed gas sensor can detect a very wide range of gases and vapors. For example, it can detect body odors, tobacco smoke, fumes from floors or furniture, cleaning agents, etc. and switch on the ventilation, for example. To integrate the air quality sensor into the Eaton wireless system, the sensor must be connected to the 2-way analogue input (109372). The 24VDC supply to the sensor also comes from the 2-way analogue input (note: ensure that the wiring and setting on the analogue input is correct!)
