Direction buttons can either be connected to the up+down arrow, or these connection terminals are bridged and a button is connected as a universal button. With universal button: Short control commands switch on/off, permanent control changes the brightness up to the maximum value. Interrupting the control changes the dimming direction. With direction button: Switch on and dim up with the arrow pointing up, switch off and dim down with the arrow pointing down. A double pulse with the arrow pointing up dims the light up to full brightness at the set dimming speed (dimspeed). The set brightness level is saved when the light is switched off (memory). In the event of a power failure, the switch position and brightness level are saved and, if necessary, switched on when the supply voltage is restored. Automatic electronic overload protection and overtemperature shutdown. The LED indicates control by flashing briefly. The minimum brightness (fully dimmed) can be set with the upper %lamp rotary switch. The dimming speed can be set with the lower dim speed rotary switch. The duration of soft on and soft off is changed at the same time. With children's room switch (universal button or direction button): When switching on by pressing the button for a longer period of time, the light switches on at the lowest brightness after approx. 1 second and then slowly dims up as long as the button is kept pressed, without changing the last saved brightness level. With snooze switch (universal button or direction button): A double pulse dims the lighting from the current dimming position to the minimum brightness and then switches it off. The maximum dimming time of 60 minutes depends on the current dimming position and the set minimum brightness and can be shortened accordingly. The light can be switched off at any time during the dimming process by pressing the button briefly. A long press during the dimming process dims the light up and ends the snooze function.
