The Homematic IP window and door contact reliably detects open or closed windows and doors using an integrated infrared light barrier. The window and door contact is mounted in the frame of plastic windows or doors and conveniently using the adhesive strips provided. When the window or door is closed, the device is not visible and is therefore particularly unobtrusive. During ventilation, the room temperature is automatically lowered in conjunction with the Homematic IP radiator thermostat. If desired, an alarm can be triggered as soon as a window or door is opened, for example in combination with the Homematic IP siren. Open windows and doors are displayed directly in the Homematic IP app - so the current status can be viewed at any time, even when you are on the move. The built-in tamper contact informs you via the app if the window and door contact is tampered with.
