The Homematic IP window and door contact is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and reliably monitors the opening and closing of windows/doors using a magnetic contact. In conjunction with a radiator thermostat, it reduces energy consumption in the home and alerts you to unauthorized access via the free Homematic IP app - even when you're on the go. It can be easily set up using the Homematic IP app and can therefore also be used for security applications, for example. It is powered by two LR03 batteries, which can supply the sensor with power for up to four years. For secure installation, both double-sided adhesive strips and suitable screws are included.
