Thanks to the direct connection between the devices, the alarm is triggered reliably even if there is no internet connection or if the Homematic IP access point or the CCU2/CCU3 central unit fails. In addition, the siren has a tamper contact, which triggers the alarm in the event of unauthorized attempts to dismantle it. Thanks to the sustainable power supply via solar cell in conjunction with a buffer battery, no separate power supply is required for installation. This means that the alarm siren can also be installed in places that are difficult to access. The battery ensures reliable operation even at night or on cloudy days. In addition, the siren can also be recharged via the micro USB port if necessary.
