The Homematic IP LED Controller (HmIP-RGBW) can be used in a variety of ways in the smart home. Up to four channels enable individual control of LED stripes, thus ensuring the right lighting mood. Brightness, color and time profiles can be individually set up and conveniently switched using the Homematic IP app. The LED controller can be easily operated using the Homematic IP app. For example, switch-on times for the LED stripes can be conveniently set up using time profiles. It is also possible to set different dimming times in order to regulate the brightness of the connected LED stripes depending on the time of day. In addition to the dimming times, light temperature (tunable white) and color moods (RGB, RGBW) can also be defined. The HCL mode (human centric lightning) allows the light to adapt to the natural course of daylight. The light changes from reddish to bluish light during the day and back again in the evening. The artificial simulation of the course of daylight supports the human biorhythm, increasing productivity during the day and promoting relaxation in the evening. The Dim2Warm operating mode simulates the dimming behavior of a classic light bulb. The darker the lamp is set, the warmer the light becomes. The brighter the light is set, the colder the light appears.
