With the Homematic IP interface for digital electricity meters, you can always keep an eye on your electricity consumption. The LED interface is the ideal solution for recording electricity consumption or feed-in, especially for intermediate meters. The data is always displayed in the Homematic IP app. Installation takes place in just a few steps directly on the electricity meter. Many digital meters visualize the current consumption via flashing pulses from an LED on the front of the meter. These pulses are recorded by the sensor and passed on to the app. The device is particularly suitable for intermediate meters that are used for intermediate metering applications such as feed-in from PV systems or energy consumption from heat pumps. You can find information on how many pulses per kWh your meter delivers directly on the device. The reading head has an adhesive surface on the mounting side. This makes it easy to fix it in the intended position on the intermediate meter. It can be removed without leaving any residue and is therefore also suitable for rental apartments. The sensor is then connected to the interface and integrated into the smart home via the app.
