The Homematic IP Radiator Thermostat - basic is part of the Homematic IP Smart Home system and actively helps to save energy. The smart controller replaces conventional radiator thermostats, which can achieve energy savings of up to 30%. The thermostat is mounted on the radiator without interfering with the heating system and without tools. The power supply is provided by two AA batteries, which can provide energy for around 2 years. The radiator thermostat is ready for use immediately thanks to the preset heating profile - this can be manually adjusted at any time if required. Individual temperature profiles with up to 13 changes are possible per day. This means that Homematic IP only heats certain rooms when they are really needed. The setup can be carried out flexibly on the device itself, via the Homematic IP app (in conjunction with the Homematic IP Access Point) or via a browser-based interface (in conjunction with a CCU2/CCU3 central unit).
