Overview

The upper part of the V20 surge arrester made of halogen-free plastic is suitable for surge protection equipotential bonding according to 0100-443 (IEC 60364-4-44) and serves as a spare part for the V20 SurgeController. A dynamic disconnection device and an optical status display characterize the modular plug-in arresters. Thanks to the high-performance varistors, the discharge capacity is up to 40 kA (8/20) per pole. The vibration-proof locking and the voltage and type coding ensure safety and prevent confusion between the upper and lower parts. The wedge-shaped design of the contacts makes it easy to insert and even easier to remove the upper parts. Additional technical product information can be accessed quickly and easily using mobile devices via the QR code on the rating plate.
