The DCP Tyxal+ is a wireless shock detector that detects large impacts and attempts to break glass. It is used to secure a house exit and to avoid risks associated with a break-in due to glass breakage. The sensor is attached to the pane of the window to be secured using double-sided adhesive tape. It is connected wirelessly to the control panel and is powered by the battery provided for up to 10 years (depending on use). To work properly, the DCP Tyxal+ must be connected to a CS 8000 Tyxal+ control unit so that it can trigger a loud acoustic signal in the event of detection.
