The DFR Tyxal+ is a wireless smoke detector that can be combined with an alarm system to protect a home from the risk of a fire outbreak. The detector is attached to the ceiling or high up on the wall using screws or double-sided tape. It is connected wirelessly to the control panel and is powered by an included battery that lasts up to 10 years. The Tyxal+ DFR can work autonomously like a conventional detector, but to obtain full functionality it must be connected to a CS 8000 Tyxal+ control panel so that it can trigger a loud acoustic signal in the event of detection.
