The DuoFern universal dimmer is a radio-enabled actuator for dimming dimmable 230 V lamps. As a flush-mounted device with a low installation height, the dimmer can be installed in a standard flush-mounted box. Automatic load detection The DuoFern universal dimmer has automatic detection of the connected load type (R, L and C) and is therefore suitable for almost all dimmable lamps. Depending on the connected load, the required dimmer operating mode is set automatically. Manual setting of the load type and brightness As an alternative to automatic detection of the lamp, the load type (R, L and C) can be selected manually. The minimum and maximum brightness can therefore be manually adjusted to each lamp. Operation on site using an external button The DuoFern universal dimmer can be operated on site using an external button. The DuoFern universal dimmer has a corresponding input [ E ] for connecting the external button. Supports the following functions: Fully integrated into the DuoFern radio system (HomePilot) Universal dimmer with automatic load type detection (detection works from approx. 15 W) Connection option (input) for external 230V button for on-site control. Depending on the load type, either trailing edge phase control (mode R, C) or leading edge phase control / Triac mode (mode L) Due to the high load range (up to 400 W) also suitable for old installations with halogen or incandescent lamps Time automatic, sun automatic, dusk automatic, dawn automatic, manual operation Staircase function - automatic switch-off after approx. 0.1 seconds to 54 minutes Intermediate value function via HomePilot adjustable, switched on at the factory. Intermediate values are adopted with a stop command or by dimming with the external button (hold down). Dimming speed for radio commands via HomePilot adjustable from 2 255 seconds Remote registration and deregistration via HomePilot or DuoFern hand-held control unit
