Stepless starting, reduction of current peaks, avoidance of mains voltage fluctuations during start-up, relief of the power supply network, reduction of the mechanical load in the drive, considerable space and wiring savings compared to star-delta starters and frequency converters, maintenance-free switching and extremely easy handling. The integrated bypass enables the very compact design and ensures less heating in the control cabinet.
