The transmitter receives the signal from an optical LNB (1310nm) and a digital terrestrial signal which is modulated at 1550nm, so that only one optical output is required for distribution. The quality of the modulation makes the device ideal for locations/systems with many multiplexes in the terrestrial frequency range. Manual level adjustment is not necessary, which greatly simplifies installation.
