As an infrared heater, the light and ceiling heating element is used in a fixed location to heat closed rooms in living and working environments. The light and infrared ceiling heating element of the VH-LED series is suitable for surface mounting on the ceiling or suspended from cables. The effective yet small-format Vitramo ceiling heating element uses radiation to heat walls that enclose the room and the floor in such a way that they only have small temperature differences between them. Only when it comes into contact with the warm surfaces does the room air heat up evenly and almost without flow. This means that the conditions for living comfort are met without unnecessary energy consumption. The ceiling infrared heater of the VH-LED series is produced in a sandwich construction. It consists of a single-pane safety glass pane (ESG glass pane made of white glass, low in iron oxide, satin, 5 mm thick, standard surface color white similar to RAL 9010), which is heated on the back by a heating layer that converts electrical energy into heat. This layer is glass fiber reinforced and embedded in a plastic mass. The back is highly thermally insulated and is completed by an aluminum cover that also encloses the sides. Surface temperature max. 190 °C at an ambient temperature of 20 °C. Thanks to the highly effective insulation on the back, ceiling heating elements achieve a very high radiation efficiency in the room. For the mains connection, the heating elements are equipped with a plug on the device cover to match the loose connection socket supplied. For operation as a stationary single-room heater, an additional room thermostat with weekly programming and detection of open windows and/or adaptive control of the start of heating and/or remote control option (outside the building) is required. The Vitramo room thermostat VTD-UP and those of the VTX series control Vitramo ceiling and wall heating elements in accordance with eco-design. The integrated light has a light output of 2 x 10 watt LED. The light frame is attached to the heating element via a rear connection (connecting bracket). The light frame consists of four brushed and anodized extruded aluminum profiles, which are connected to one another via corner connectors and thus form a unit. Two of these profiles, located opposite one another, are designed as a light unit and covered with acrylic glass. The light unit is equipped with high-brightness LED boards, with a stabilized color temperature of 4,000K neutral white, color rendering index Ra 90 and 2x 10W LED power, total LED luminous flux approx. 2,600lm. The operating device unit is integrated in one of the two adjacent aluminum profiles. The light unit switches electrically separately from the heating element. Vitramo heating elements may only be installed by a specialist. Vitramo is a leading manufacturer and produces wall and ceiling infrared heaters exclusively in Germany.
