The AV3820 cable knife enables precise, fast and safe stripping of all common round cables with a diameter between four and 28 millimeters. The cutting depth of the cutting knife can be continuously adjusted using an adjusting wheel in the housing. This prevents damage to the inner conductors. The cutting knife is self-rotating and integrated in the housing, allowing automatic switching from round to longitudinal cutting. A hook blade has also been integrated into the AV3820, which can be sunk into the housing. The blade can be locked in both positions. This leads to a significant reduction in the risk of injury that can be caused by fixed blades.
