The PME5U2B-GR power strip from APC is part of the SurgeArrest Essential family. It has five surge-protected sockets with an output of 680 joules and two USB-A charging sockets. The power strip is equipped with a switch that supplies all connected devices with power or disconnects them from the power supply. The device switch interrupts the power circuit and thus saves energy costs, as the standby mode of electrical devices is bypassed, for example. The protective contact sockets are rotated by 45° and are also suitable for angled plugs directly next to each other. The EMI and RFI filter protects against data errors and keyboard problems due to electrical interference. The APC SurgeArrest Essential series represents the first level of surge protection that should be present on every computer and household electronics.
