The KNX controller is designed to query conventional, potential-free contacts in KNX systems and enables telegrams to be sent to the KNX bus to control states, meter readings and consumers. It can be installed in a device box according to DIN 49073, although sufficient installation depth is required. The controller has independent channels that can be configured as inputs or outputs and does not require an additional power supply as it is supplied via the bus. It is KNX Data Secure compatible and can be updated using the ETS service app. The outputs can control LEDs and are short-circuit and overload protected. The inputs enable buttons and sensors to be connected, with a pulse current query preventing contact contamination. They also support functions such as switching, dimming and room temperature control as well as status transmission and logic functions for extended control options.
