The main area of application is automatic, weather-dependent shading control. It is specially designed for the home. To increase functional reliability, the weather station monitors itself in some important functions and reports corresponding errors independently via reporting objects on the bus. It is intended for outdoor installation on a mast or wall. The bus connection to the KNX is integrated. The evaluation of the data itself, in particular the limit value processing, already takes place in the weather station. It is protected from impairment of its function by frost and condensation by a built-in heater down to -20 °C. The heater also ensures that the sensor surface of the precipitation sensor dries quickly after rain or defrosts snow and ice.]]>
